Effort, dedication, professionalism and know-how, define Bocopa's trajectory, turning it into the most promising wine company of the Alicante region. Our constant search for the quality in our wines, has been rewarded several times by the numerous prizes received from prestigious organizations related to the wine's world, abroad and in Spain; nevertheless, all these awards only represent an incentive for us to keep on guaranteeing maximum quality in all wine making procedures.
Wine cellar
A wine cellar is a place of research and creativity where we combine vine cultivation and oenology, experience and technology, innovation with craftsmanship and aging. Our aim is that when tasting our wines you will be submerged into a universe full of magical sensations of colour, aromas, flavours and memories. Tasting an excellent wine means memorising the unforgettable moments of these fine pleasures.
At Bocopa we are truly aware that we work with a living entity: wine. We dedicate all our daily efforts, each of us contributing our experience and, without having to mention it, a part of our lives. The team representing BOCOPA works hard in order to bring to your palate this magic world of colours, aromas and tasting sensations, with the maximum quality and in best conditions.
Our wine growing partners' vineyards
Our weather conditions have something unique: the sun (source of energy) and our Mediterranean climate which combine to create vineyards where the remarkable nature and identity of the Bocopa wines are born.
Our production is obtained from 8,000 hectares of land cultivated by our 1,800 wine growing partners. They are grouped into 8 cooperative cellars forming the Bocopa Cellars Group and representing over 60% of the D.O. Alicante wines.
Our facilites
During the year 2000 the new Bocopa facilities were put into operation. Our new site of more than 3.200m2 is on the Alicante-Madrid motorway where we have the following: an air-conditioned cellar for ageing wine in both American and French oak barrels, a cellar for the reception and storage of wines, a bottling line, a quality control laboratory, a training room, a souvenirs shop and all the administration and commercial offices of the Bocopa group.
These facilities were tailor-designed and equipped with the most advanced modern technology, thus guaranteeing maximum quality in all wine making procedures.
Faithful to the heritage left by our ancestors, Alicante is nowadays a very important wine region of Mediterranean Europe.
At present, our production is concentrated in the medium and high basin of the “Vinalopó” river, and in the “Marina Alta” where we produce our dry white wines and Muscat.
Today, Bocopa’s wines are a symbol of prestige and are readily available on the best restaurant menus and in specialized stores. |
