La Rectoral de Cines se encuentra en un profundo y fértil valle entre los ríos Mero, que desemboca en A Coruña, y Mendo, que lo hace en Betanzos. El abrazo de estos ríos inspiraron, en 1916, el actual nombre de estas tierras: ayuntamiento de Oza dos Ríos (a 2 Km. de la Rectoral).
Debido a la exuberante vegetación y a la proximidad del mar, el lugar disfruta de un clima templado muy agradable, así como de unos parajes de ensueño, propicios para el senderismo y la pura contemplación.
Es importante añadir que, sin enturbiar este sosegado ambiente de campo, la Rectoral se encuentra cerca de núcleos urbanos (muy bien comunicados por autopistas, autovías, etc.) como la ciudad medieval de Betanzos (conjunto histórico-artístico) a 8 Km., A Coruña a 25 Km, o a 50 Km., la monumental capital gallega, Santiago de Compostela. Incluso a la legendaria Costa da Morte, que dista a 70 km., se llega pronto por la autovía.
Además, a ambos lados de la ría de Betanzos, existen magníficas playas, como las de Gandarío, Sada, Miño, Perbes y Puentedeume, a una distancia entre 12 y 25 km. |
