Posada los Mimbres, the building dates from 1879, and is situated in a beautifully landscaped farm.
Formerly the home of David Beynon Williams and Gwen Jones who had been granted 100 hectares from the Welsh settlement in Chubut.
They baptize the location Pant y Celyn (name of an indigenous bush) and build a modest house of sun-dried bricks and “blacksmith´s shop”. Some years later , they build the house which is still standing, with materials brought from the EEUU and England.
In 1988, 53 hectares of the original 100 were bought by Plust family who choose Patagonia as their living quartersand open their doors to visitors. |

The Old House
Built more than 100 years ago, still keeps part of the furnishing dating back to settler times, which combines modern sleeping accommodation.
Bedrooms: 3 - private bathroom each.
A comfortable dining room with a fireplace, and a reading room, where you can learn from the past events and customs of the region.
A meeting with a cosy and warm atmosphere and the opportunity of a true rest.
The New house
Has been purposefully built in order to get the light and heat from the sun, it is well protected from the patagonian winds providing a cool and quiet surrounding.
Three rooms with ensuite private showers and toilets.
Its excellent sight overlooking the garden from the living room by the open fireplace, offers a serene and intimate atmosphere for relax and music delight. |
