Cádiz is a province of southern Spain, in the southwestern part of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia. It is bordered by the provinces of Huelva, Sevilla, and Málaga, as well as the British possession of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea.
Built some 3,000 years ago by the Phoenicians, Cadiz is the oldest city of the West.
This province, right in the heart of Andalusia's Atlantic coast, has preserved an important historic legacy resulting from its flourishing commerce and exquisite regional dishes.
